ECONOMIC APPEARANCE OF PRODUCED ASSETS (K.4)

6.18 Economic appearance of produced assets (K.4) occurs in the case of goods that are not already recorded in the Balance Sheets. It is the recognition of a significant or special value that is considered an economic appearance to be recorded under other changes in volume.

Economic appearance of produced assets includes:

  1. valuables, such as precious stones and art objects, when the high value or artistic significance of an object not already recorded in the Balance Sheets is first recognised;
  2. historic monuments, when the special archaeological, historical or cultural significance of a structure or site not already recorded in the Balance Sheets is first recognised.
